Since my BMW was in shop for few days I got to drive my first car as a spare one. It’s a Ford Mondeo MK1, 2.0 ZETEC engine with 136PS with original RS and original Ford Citrine Geel paint job. After 24 years and close to 350.000km it goes really well. Although interior is not in the best condition.

Cold start of BMW 120d E87 with N47 diesel engine at -15°C. At first engine is shaky, that’s most likely caused by defective glow plug. Remember to preheat your glow plugs and turn off any additional electric equipment to not drain your battery when starting the engine.

Headlights modification in Volkswagen Passat B5 FL replacing standard halogen bulbs with COB LED H7 replacement. Installation took some modification to fit the LEDs properly but eventually managed to make it work. Light is much brighter and even the light beam is more precise than with OEM halogen bulb.
Please notice that this tuning/modification is not road legal in Poland and other countries. Please check your local law before going onto road with aftermarket LED headlights.

iPhone apps for HUD (Head-Up Display), lane assist and distance monitoring with augmented reality in your car. Quick review of two iOS apps that should increase your safety while driving.
First one (MiSpeed) shows your current speed based on the GPS position and shows it on the screen. Image is reflected so you can mount your phone flat on your dashboard and read the reflection of your windscreen. Second one (Augmented Driving) uses your phones camera to determinate your position on the road, do you keep your lane and checks if you’re not driving too close to the car infant of you.

My friend got Seat Leon I with 1.9TDI engine and a volunteered to clean the EGR valve in this engine. It would be a very nice tutorial for such a popular engine, but sadly i failed. Bolts are stuck and I couldn’t remove it.

After years and miles your cars interior will catch dust, dirt and all kind of filth inside upholstery. If you keep you cars interior clean you don’t need to use air fresheners, it’s more healthy if you’re allergic, it looks and feels like a new car even in 10 years old car.

My friends method for cleaning engine and gearbox before painting. He’s removing oil contaminate, rust, carbon deposits and so on. Time to say goodbye to my Volvo C30. Three years, lot’s of maintenance and tuning tutorials made for you. But I have to move on to next one. Going for BMW 1-Series, E87 120d (N47 177HP), manual, ready for mods and retrofitting.
For sure will do full interior LED conversion, bluetooth install, A-pillar fix, peeling steering wheel fix, some BMW regular maintenance.

I wasn’t happy with my low beam projector lenses, took them out of the headlight and found out that the mirror surface is burned and does not reflect light as it should. Excessive heat from the H7 halogen bulb destroys surface of the projector reflective area. So I bought a set of new projectors but unfortunately for RHD cars. So i took apart my projectors and decided to rebuild new ones so I can drive with them in my Volvo C30 safely and legally.
