Hidden menu in Audi RMC system lets you access and change some of the navigation and multimedia system parameters. Hidden green diagnostic menu can be useful when diagnosing faulty radio tuner, GPS antenna receiver, reverse camera and other system components.

Preparation
- You car need to have Audi RMC system. Check your system version.

Tools
- If your Audi RMC system hidden green menu needs to be enabled first, you need to use diagnostic interface like OBDeleven, VCDS or similar.

Audi RMC hidden green menu activation
- Connect with module 5F – Control Head.
- Choose procedure 10 – Adaptation.
- Choose Channel 5 and read stored value (should be 0).
- Enter new value: 1
- Save new adaptation value.
- Exit.
How to enter hidden green menu in Audi RMC system
- Turn key into II position and wait for the Audi RMC system to start. You can also use keyless buttons.
- To be sure that your system rebooted press at the same time three buttons:
- MENU
- Control wheel
- Upper-right function key
- Wait for the system to restart.
- Press and hold buttons MENU and CAR.
- After couple of seconds hidden green menu will appear. You can now release the buttons.
- Navigate through the hidden menu with control wheel. Don’t change any values unless you’re sure what you are doing.
Hello, I just bought a Audi A1 for my Son 2011. I think it has a mmi rmc unit in it. When i want to Check the software version, it Only shows a question mark (?)
Is there anyway I can reinstall the firmware?
I Cannot Find it.

original audi rmc nav unit with ami in headrest.
I installed android 10,9″ monitor and connect all like instructed (all original cables come with new unit). can is working and everything is ok.
just I can’t get sound from new unit (from youtube, usb mp4 and etc..)
original sound is coming when I select mmi menu (radio, cd)..
the rason for this I think is that new unit get sound through ami interface AUX mode.
but I can’t select in mmi source ami aux ( always not connected in source ).
if you need more info I will provide.
also in green menu no “diagnose” and “aux” activation to choose.

Hello I just got a 2014 Audi Q3 but the MMI menu for “car” looks very basic compared to what I see online. How do I activate any other features like access key, boot lid, side assist, park assist, mirror view etc?

Is there an option to control (adjust) ambient light in car with audi rmc system as there isnt : “car” option in hidden menu.
Possibly it can be found under other menu listed points.
