    • No. Everything should be in the car. MMI 3G unit itself is equipped with bluetooth receiver, the microphone is also in the car for the GALA (noise volume adjustment).

  • Hi. I have an issue with my Bluetooth. It used to work but it just stopped working some time ago. I cannot connect the phone (any type of phone) to the car anymore. My firmware is quite old, BBT_EU_P0020_D1 and I read that there is a problem with this firmware, someone wrote in a forum that it should be updated using the firmware P0020_ADJBK_FIX. I couldn’t find this version anywhere. Do you have it? Thanks.

    • Sorry, no information about that fix. But start with checking fuses. Sometimes just phone module is not powered so it does not work.

  • Hi, I have a 2009 Audi Q5 with MMI 3G. Is it possible that the bluetooth is already installed and only neads activation? I tried to access the hidden menu but it wasn’t possible. Is there any links for reliable VAG-Com cables?

    Thank you

  • Hi, it seems that my 2009 Q5 has the MMI 3G Plus system. Should it have the bluetooth pre installed and just needs activation?

  • Hey, thanks for the article. Should this allow me to stream music using bluetooth, from my phone? If not, is that even possible? If yes, how? :) thanks! PS mmi 3g

  • Thanks for the info. I can activate BT connection to my phone on my Q7 (2011MY).
However, seem the mic does not worked. People cannot hear what I said. Do I need to activate the mic as well?
I found 2 mic are in cabin light position.

  • Hi
Is there any possibility,to connect my phone, using a bluetooth, to the stereo? To play music from phone? I have 2004
    A6-C6 sedan.

  • I have A6 Allroad 2009 facelift with MMI 3G basic and AMI. Bluetooth connection OK and can make calls, only people don’t hear me. Audi also have GALA and it is active. From hidden menu i can’t find any mics. Do i have to pay for new microphones, and if it so, what kind of mics?
