Ford Focus MK1 anti-hijack lockout activation

Ford Focus MK1 anti-hijack lockout will increase safety of your passenger and baggage. Thanks to this simple activation all doors will automatically close when your car reaches certain speed.

Preparation

  • Sit in the drivers seat and close the door.
  • Gearbox should be in neutral (manual) or park (automatic) position, parking brake on.

Ford Focus MK1 anti-hijack lockout – procedure

  1. Turn key to II position.
  2. Lock and unlock doors using door button. Repeat two more time.
  3. Turn key to 0 position.
  4. Lock and unlock doors using door button. Repeat two more time.
  5. Turn key to II position. You should hear beep that confirms that you entered programing mode.
  6. Lock and unlock doors using door button. You should hear beep confirmation of the programing. Single beep means deactivated feature. Double beep means activated feature.
  7. Turn key to 0 position. You should hear beep that confirms exiting programing mode.

From now on your central locking will close automatically when car reaches 5mph.

    Can’t get this to work on pre-facelift (1999) fockus. The one without remote or centralized locking.
