MOPAR Rec navigation hidden menu procedure

  1. Turn the navigation on.
  2. Press NAV button under the display.
  3. Press and hold buttons 2, 6, CANCEL.
  4. Release when “Self Diagnostics Item” appears on the screen.
  5. Use joystick on the right, ENTER and CANCEL buttons to navigate through the menu.

  • Hello, my nav display says insert nav CD. The disc is in how do I get rid of this message. I tried the above steps but it does not do anything. Your help would be greatly appreciated

    • Please check if your disc is OK (not scratched or dirty). You Cd drive could also be defective.

  • Hi, I think I have a shortage because my whole screen goes black, but I can still use the volume and to turn it off. Is that fixable, instead of buying a new one?

  • My LCD screen gets these lines all threw it. The radio will play and after while it goes completely out. When I first start the car it works fine. After about 10 min the lines show up and there after the radio goes out.

  • Hello, ive tried this and was wondering why it could possibly not be working, does my navigation (gps) need to be turned off for me to get to the sceeen, if so is there a way without me pulling out the radio?? Is the video his gps was not hooked up

    How do I do a factory reset.
    My latest Navigation Disk is scratched and no longer loads.
    I want to load an earlier version disk but when I try it tells me that the system has a later version installed.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Every now and when playing music CD, A lound sound notification pops up, and error message on the screen meantions that the there is an error playing accessing the navigation DVD rom, while I am in Beirut, Lebanon and certainly not benefiting from the navigation feature that is available only for USA, so is there a way to turn off that notification sound ?

  • Hello is there anyway to update the nav ? I noticed the maps are way out of date not like google maps at all.
