Hidden menu RNS 510 & RNS 810

Enter hidden menu RNS 510 & RNS 810 to view diagnostic data about your Volkswagen & Seat cars with Radio Navigation System or Skoda cars with Columbus radio. This service testmode lets you check temperature from various sensors, HDD & CAN stats, radio tuner & GPS navigation diagnostic data. This menu can be very helpful when troubleshooting electrical issues with your vehicle.

Hidden menu RNS 510 & RNS 810 – procedure

  1. Turn the ignition on and wait for the RNS 510 or RNS 810 system to start.
  2. Press and hold SETUP button. On the LCD screen you will see “Radio Service Mode”.
  3. Continue to hold the button.
  4. When “Testmode” appears on the screen, release the button.
  5. Use touchscreen to browse through the hidden menu.

  • I have a VW Touran 2010 model and i have a radio (rcd 310) that I removed and put another one (rns 510) and everything works fine but I would like to know how I can make the navigation come up on the dashboard so it is easier to navigate so that I don’t have to look down. if so can you please give me a solution
